Hope • Healing • Legacy

Willis Lives On was created from love, loss, and the belief that no one should walk this journey alone. We are here to bring hope, support healing, and honor the lives and legacies of those we love and carry with us.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring hope and connection to those struggling in silence, healing and support to survivors of suicide loss, and to honor the lives and legacies of those we have lost. We are committed to suicide prevention and awareness, compassionate support for families and survivors, and creating a community where no one has to navigate grief or struggle alone. Our work is rooted in Hope • Healing • Legacy.

Our Story

Willis Lives On was created in memory of Kevin Willis, a husband, father, friend, and deeply loved man whose life was lost to suicide. After Kevin’s death, Kevin's wife, Carrie, experienced firsthand how overwhelming suicide loss can be and how difficult it can be for survivors to find places where their grief, their loved one, and their story are truly understood.

Willis Lives On grew from that loss and from a desire to turn love and grief into purpose. Our goal is not only to reach people who may be struggling in silence with hope, connection, and support, but also to walk beside the families and survivors left behind, honor the people we have lost, and remind others that their lives and stories matter.

Kevin’s life is part of the beginning of Willis Lives On, but its purpose reaches every person and family who needs hope, healing, and a way to carry a loved one’s legacy forward.
